CONDITIONAL SENTENCE

(KALIMAT PENGANDAIAN)

Conditional sentence adalah sebuah kalimat pengandaian yang terdiri dari if clause dan main clause ,
if clause .
conditional sentence itu sendiri dibagi menjadi tiga tipe, untuk lebih lanjut lihat di bawah ini

1.       Conditional sentence type 1
pattern :
if clause= if+simple present
main clause=will-future
condition=future possible condition /(there is possibility
example: if I study hard, I will pass the examination
strukturnya:
 if+s+v1,s+will+v1

2.       Conditional sentence type II
Pattern:
if clause=if+simple past tense
main clause=would+infinitive(v1)
condition=present unreal condition /( bertentangan dengan pernyataan sekarang)
example: if I learned, I would pass the examination
strukturnya:
if+s+v2,s+would+v1

3.       Conditional sentence type III
Pattern:
if clause=if+past perfect tense
main clause= would+have+past participle (v3)
condition=future possible condition
example: if I had learned,I would have passedthe examination
strukturnya:
if+s+had+v3,s+would+have+v3

Mungkin penjelasan diatas masih kurang mendetail, disini saya akan membuatkan bagannya agar bisa lenih mudah kita pahami

1.       Conditional sentence type I

If clause	Main clause	facta
If+s+        V1/                            Is,am,are	S+will      Shall                    can                  + V1      may	Perhaps there is possibility it is possible

                “for example”     

If we know her address, we will invite her

If I am you , I will answer all question

2.       Conditional sentence Type II

If clause	Main clause	Facta
If + s+    V2/        Were(all subject)	Should            S+  would                       could                 + V1       might	Bertentangan dengan pernyataan pada waktu sekarang = (present)

“ for example”

If we knew her address, we would  invite her

If I were you , I would answer all question

3.       Conditional sentence type III

If clause	Main clause	Facta
If + s + had + V3              Had been	should S+  would        could                    + V3         might	Bertentangan dengan pernyataan pada masa lampau= ( past tense)

               

“ for example”

If we had known her address, we would have invited her

If I had been you , I would have answered all question

NOTE :
“Jika pada  contional sentence type II  tidak ada verb di “if clause” kita perbantukanlah tobe “were” untuk semua subject”.

“ jika dalam conditional sentence type III tidak ada verb 3 , maka kita perbantukan “had been” untuk semua subject di “if clause” dan “main clause” nya setelah would + “have” untuk semua subject”
